What is Holistic Voice Therapy?
Voice therapy offers a way of nurturing ourselves, restoring balance in our mind and body and sometimes working through something that is difficult in our lives. This BAST Method of Sound Therapy combines therapeutic sound and voice work and is a fusion of ancient practices with modern techniques. It is rooted in the belief that sound is a powerful catalyst for healing. This form of sound healing is very beneficial for health and well-being on all levels, it acknowledges the interconnectedness of mind body and spirit. It goes beyond conventional vocal training, delving into the realms of energy, emotion, and self-expression.

There are passive and active elements of voice therapy. During a passive treatment, you will receive the sound of tones and overtone singing, which has been practised for centuries to restore harmony in the body and mind. In the active part we will work together, using voice, breath and movement, which will be intuitively tailored to your needs.This is for anyone looking to ease stress, anxiety, insomnia, and emotional tension. It can help release physical pain, self-expression, self-awareness, improve confidence and promote positive mood.

Voice and Well-being Workshops
Empower Your Voice: A Journey of Body, Breath, and Sound
This workshop provides a chance for you to explore, express, share, harmonise, and enjoy your voice in a relaxed and safe environment.The sessions aim to help you unwind and tap into the transformative influence of sound. Our focus will be on a blend of voice techniques to empower the voice and therapeutic sound, incorporating body awareness, breath work, blending in a mixture of toning, rhythm and song, improvisation, and healing voice. This workshop is ideal for anyone who likes to sing, whether for personal enrichment, artistic expression, or therapeutic benefits. You will learn practices to support your ongoing voice journey at home as well as songs and creative games you can share with others.

Voice Bath Relaxation
Voice bath relaxation sessions provide a unique and immersive way to experience the therapeutic benefits of sound, creating a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere for those seeking relaxation and well-being. A voice bath relaxation session, also known as a sound bath is a therapeutic experience where participants are immersed in soothing sounds of tones and overtones and various percussion instruments, whilst resting.

These vocal techniques are designed to induce a meditative state and promote a sense of deep relaxation. The frequency of the overtoning often promotes an altered state of consciousness, where natural healing takes place in body mind and spirit. This sound journey can help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, relieve muscle tension, help with sleep and increase positive mood.
Participants are often advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring any additional items (such as a blanket or cushion) for maximum comfort.

Serenity Sounds
Is a unique workshop where participants get to explore the power of sound, both through their own voices and the surrounding soundscapes, created by the use of simple instruments such as himalayan bowls, crystal bowls and gong. It offers an in depth delving into the body and mind, entering the layers of subconscious in a safe environment, for the benefit of your health and well-being. Workshops are run by Hanna and Emi, two compassionate and empathic sound therapy practitioners, in a loving and caring atmosphere, in a cosy venue where we will be hidden from the world so you can truly let go, and let the healing take place.
